I was hired today by Infinity Solutions Inc. a New Zealand owned IT development and consultant team. My position is a junior Java Developer working within their nine person strong development team on a variety of projects. They have good mentorship and training programs in place with their senior developers and architects. Job starts on Monday and pays a good salary.

Not much else is going on though, flat mates are gearing up for Christmas, and a couple are leaving on vacation. Most of the time I just sit around reading books and playing PSP, we still don’t have a TV yet but after a couple pay checks maybe head down to a cash converters and pick up a cheap one.

I worked one day at a temporary job at an internet café for training. The job was pretty relaxed and easy, not much goes on. The hardest part of the job was sorting through accents and figuring out what people really wanted. The manager though was pretty cool, paid me cash for my one day of work and then just let me go on my way.
