I’ve just been looking for work over that last few weeks, got some prospects to look into, as well as a few interviews coming up this week. If something good doesn’t happen soon though it looks like its back to the restaurants for a few months until companies start hiring again, stupid holidays.
It doesn’t even feel like Christmas is coming; no where near like it is in Vancouver. Very few shops have Christmas supplies out, and even fewer have decorated the front of their shops. There isn’t any buzz in the air, no Santa’s on street corners, no crappy weather. It is going to be very weird going to a beach barbeque for Christmas morning, though some people have told me that it is the thing to do. It is hard to believe that it is already December, and two months are down.
