The international Sevens tournament is in town. Yesterday there was the team parade outside out work; it was hard to not throw my bottle at the American float. Finally the Canadian team came by, and only one person cheered. Everyone around me looked at me like I was crazy; I only wish I had a big Canadian flag to wave in their faces.
Today the first day of the tournament started. There is an unofficial costume competition in Wellington on Sevens weekend, and I’ve seen some funny costumes, some stupid ones and some scandalous ones. Canada lost its first game to South Africa 24-10, in 20 minutes Canada plays Australia and it is going to be do-or-die if they want to go for the cup
