Earthquake rocks Gisborne

Last night at about 9pm our time a 6.8 earthquake was registered south east of the coastal town Gisborne. For those who remember we visited Gisborne as it is the first city to see the sun rise in the world (or so they claim). We felt a slight shaking in Wellington but not enough to cause anything to fall over.
