I would have to say that Grand Theft Auto IV is the best video game I have ever played. It has an immensely compelling story that sucks you right in with a terrific plot, great characters and wonderful voice acting. One of the greatest parts about GTA IV is the city. Liberty City feels and behaves like you would expect a city to, it redefines how city AI should work. The visuals are absolutely amazing, but it is the little things that I find make it really worth while. The new shooting system is vastly superior to previous versions. This new version allows you to lock onto a target but still move the target about to go for a head shot or aim for the legs to incapacitate the target. I am a bit amazed that it passed for a 15+ rating in Australia, at one point when I got bored I walked down the street shooting anyone I saw (including cops) in the head then just hopped on the subway and got away clean. When I get back from Vancouver I will definitely be investing in a HD ready television to enhance the experience.
