It has been about half a week since moving into the new place, and it’s going pretty good. The walls are a little bare still, we need to get all the furniture moved in before hanging things on the wall. It’s great being so close to the city, Roti Chenai is only about 10 minutes away.
Right beside our house is a path that is the quickest way to the city. Unfortunately it goes right through a few car parks and it looks a bit dodgy at night. there are bright spot lights back there, but I’ll probably stick to the more travelled route.
I’m only five minutes from work, which might not be a good thing. Even though I still get up around the same time I don’t have the same urgency to get out the door as before. This morning it was close to two hours from when I got up to when I made it to my desk.
Despite the few shortcomings I’m loving the new place and can’t wait to make it more of a home.
