On Friday I picked up Electronic Arts’ new game Spore. It has a bit of The Sims with some Black and White in the mix topped off with a little bit of Real Time Strategy. How good is it? It’s so good Georgia wants to play it, so it must be good. The game follows your creation through five stages, Cell, Creature, Tribal, Civilization and Galaxy. It is immensely fun and a little bit addicting.
Over the weekend when I wasn’t playing Spore I managed to meet up with Luic. Luic and I use to flat together when I first moved to Wellington. He has spent the last year in the USA finishing his degree and just came back for a little visit. We headed down to JJ Murphey’s to play some pool, which is no longer free, and the boys beat the girls in the few games we played.
