This weekend was pretty average. I checked out the Armageddon Expo down at the TSB Arena on Saturday. I went a couple years ago and it was pretty interesting and there was lots to see. This year though it seemed a bit empty, the stalls were a bit crap, and all in all I probably was there less than an hour. I wasn’t even tempted to waste my money on something impulsive this time.
The other great part of my weekend was working on both Saturday & Sunday. Neither day was for very long, less than five hours combined, but even just being at my desk for a little while was a huge drain. Unfortunately Monday is going to be software build day and my changes had to be in before then, the last thing I wanted to was hold up the whole process. If I was late delivering my changes that would make the build late, which would make system testing late, which would make user acceptance testing late, which could make the release to production late, and I didn’t want to be the one responsible for that.
