This morning we went to the Melbourne Aquarium. This aquarium had penguins! They were pretty funny, this one penguin was following a photographer around looking for food. The aquarium’s jelly fish and tropical bowl were nice and they had a really big shark tank. I thought the Melbourne Aquarium was a bit better than the Sydney Aquarium.
We then tried out Melbourne’s famous shopping and we weren’t disappointing. Melbourne has lots if wonderful little alleys and arcades with a diversity of shops that allow you to wander endlessly from place to place.
After a few hours of that we went up the Eureka Tower, Melbourne’s tallest building. On the 88th floor we had a really great view of the whole city. It was good to get that perspective of the city and find where some sites like the Melbourne Cricket Ground. I took a walk outside on this deck thing and man was that wind blowing hard.
