A Kerikeri Christmas

I spent Christmas in Kerikeri this year. I was staying at the Hone Heke Lodge and the operators Kate and Duncan put on a massive BBQ. There were lots of people there and everyone was to bring a dish. There was food from Japan, Korea, England, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Germany. After lunch there were a few rounds of killer pool before some backyard cricket. I don’t think the fielders were impressed with me when I smashed a couple sixes into the trees and they had to go fetch them.
