After stopping in Auckland for the night Georgia and I drove to Tauranga for a few days. There are a lot of churches here. Every time I turn around there is another church.
We went for a hike up Mt. Maunganui. It isn’t a big hill and wasn’t too stressful. The views from the top were excellent and there were lots of pohutukawas blooming.
Tauranga seems like the place lots of people retire to. It reminds me of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada in more ways than one.
