The Vancouver Whitecaps have moved up to the MLS and the home opener is today. The stadium they’re supposed to play at isn’t quite finished yet so they are playing in a temporary one made out of leftover stands from the 2010 Olympics. I hope they have a good season so the city stays interested in them, not like the grizzlies debacle.
