I’m house sitting a cat with herpes at the moment. A Burmese female call named bill. Herpes in cats causes sinus problems so this small cat snores loudly and snuffles a lot. About once a year Bill gets an ulcer in her eye and has to get one eye sewn open. She looks all sorts of messed up, and looking at her messed up eye hurts my eye.

Bill has taken to batting me in the face to sleep under the covers. I caved one night and she sneezed and left a snot wet patch for me. After that incident I started tricking her to sleep between two layers of blankets so if she does that again I don’t have to lie in it.

There is another cat that is far less maintenance, another female Burmese named Fred. Fred is out lots, don’t really see much of her. She has a really short tail so they are both a bit messed up in their own way.
