Went to Seattle for 24 hours on the way back from Portland. We didn’t get to stay long in the city but we got to see some amazing stuff. We went to the Chihuly Garden & Glass exhibit. It was amazing to see some his teams installations. There was one room with glass on the ceiling with light passing through it that made some wonderful lighting effects. Some of the pieces of work must have been 10 meters tall.

We also went up the space needle this time. The queues were short and we got a great panorama view of the city. The one flaw with photos from the space needle is that the space needle isn’t in any of the photos, making photos a bit ordinary.

The last thing we got to do was rush through the King Tut exhibit because we were running out of time. There were lots of interesting things there and some beautiful jewelry but we couldn’t give everything the attention it deserved.
